Salman Khan will soon appear in the fourth installment of the Dabangg franchise after delivering three successful films in the series. However, it seems that the much anticipated Dabangg 4 may need more time to develop, develop, and deliver. There are rumors that Salman rejected the screenplay and that Tigmanshu Dhulia may have to totally rewrite it.
Salman Khan’s Dabangg series may have reached a “dead end,” according to a report. According to a source close to the production team, “Salman did not like the screenplay Tigmanshu gave him. Dabangg 4 was supposed to be written and directed by Tigmanshu. Salman is not at all pleased with the outcome after the filmmaker finished his writing.
It’s not yet known, however, if Tigmanshu has been requested to rework the screenplay or whether a different person will be called in to assist edit the same. With this new development, it’s unclear whether Tigmanshu will still be helming the movie. The project may or might not be given to another director.
Abhinav Kashyap wrote Dabangg 1, but after a bitter argument between the Khans and Kashya, the franchise was given to Arbaaz Khan. Prabhudeva was the director of Dabangg 3.
Salman Khan’s upcoming film will be Tiger 3. After Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, it is the third movie in the Tiger series and a part of the YRF Spy Universe. In addition to Salman Khan, Tiger 3 features Katrina Kaif, who had appeared in the first two movies as the superspy Zoya. Emraan Hashmi plays the villain in the movie as well. Maneesh Sharma is the director of the movie. For this year’s Diwali, the movie is scheduled for a theater release.
Salman also had a brief cameo in the popular movie Pathaan. According to reports, YRF is also developing a movie that pits Tiger against Pathaan. The last time we saw Salman was in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Both reviewers and audiences had conflicting opinions about the family entertainment.
