Ajay Jadeja Says, “I Am Ready,” in His Swift Reaction To Coaching The Pakistan Cricket Team, Going Viral

Afghanistan’s cricket squad, who were formerly considered underdogs, underwent a dramatic metamorphosis to become a powerful force in the ICC World ODI Cup. Afghanistan’s progress may be largely attributed to their guru, former Indian cricket player Ajay Jadeja, whose influence was crucial in determining how Afghanistan performed throughout the tournament.

Afghanistan entered the World Cup in India as an underdog, having only won once in their previous two World Cup campaigns. However, they had several notable wins, including against England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, among other cricketing heavyweights. They finished in a noteworthy sixth position because of their outstanding performance, which qualified them for the coveted Champions Trophy.

The team’s major wins and general progress demonstrated the value of Ajay Jadeja’s coaching skills. Hashmatullah Shahidi, the captain, and Jonathan Trott, the current head coach of the Afghanistan cricket team, both acknowledged Jadeja’s important contribution to the squad’s World Cup campaign.

Ajay Jadeja, the former Indian cricket player who participated in 15 Test matches and 196 One-Day Internationals for his country, was asked whether he would consider coaching the Pakistan cricket team during a recent interview with Sports Tak.

“I’m prepared,” Jadeja said.

“I taught the Afghans everything I had learned, and I think Pakistan used to be much like Afghanistan. In front of your colleague, you could say whatever you wanted to say, Jadeja said.

Afghanistan’s progress will be greatly aided by Ajay Jadeja’s influence as they prepare for upcoming cricket difficulties, such as a three-match Twenty20 International series in India in January 2024. The series offers Afghanistan another chance to build on their recent success and further establish themselves as a competitive force in international cricket. Matches in Mohali, Indore, and Bengaluru are scheduled to begin on January 11.
